SIMON
IS THE BEDROCK on which Lampano Alley builds its sound. Playing both
electric and acoustic standup bass, Simon is conservatory trained,
studying at the University of the Philippines Conservatory of Music.
His quiet, exterior demeanor masks an intense commitment to music; he is the perfectionist in the band. During the recording of the band's first album, band mates relied on Simon's perceptive ears to fine tune the mix.
Recently, Simon has been playing with jazz groups Wdouji and Happy People, and he helps host weekly Monday night jazz jams at Freedom Bar.
