Jojo Lim, Lampano Alley's original drummer who appears on its album, was hired away from the band to play on a daily TV show and international concert tours.

PAOLO MANUEL stepped into big shoes, replacing Conservatory-trained Jojo Lim, whose vast talents brought him bigger-than-blues paychecks as a sessionist on Philippine TV.  But Paolo brings his own talents to the Lampano Alley line-up.

He has been the drummer of the sensational young blues band Mr. Crayon, which has brought a new, young audience to the blues in the Philippines.  More recently, he has played on a regular basis with The Jerks, and he is broadening his reach by playing often with Manila jazz bands.  Reared in a musical family, with a father who has encouraged his interests in the blues, Paolo has natural talent for the drums.
